Dale Albert Fethke's Obituary
Mr. Dale Albert Fethke, age 53, passed away unexpectedly November 5, 2019 in Austin, Texas as a result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on March 23, 1966 to Albert E. and Patricia J. (Cwynar) Fethke. Dale graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central in 1984 and from the University of Michigan in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Economics). He continued his education at Arizona State University and completed actuarial exams to be admitted as Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society in 2005. He was employed as an Actuarial Analyst at Norcal Group in Austin and was responsible for pricing medical professional liability insurance. He enjoyed cycling and was a marathon runner. Dale was an avid sports fan with a keen interest in music and computers. Dale is survived by his mother, Patricia J. Fowler; his father, Albert E. (Denise) Fethke; grandmother, Joan Panyrek; brothers, Jay Fethke and Kevin (Jill) Fethke; nephews, Aaron and Adam Fethke and niece, Samantha Fethke. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Cwynar, Albert E. Fethke, Sr., Marie Omness, and Edward Panyrek. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, November 23, 2019 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (1716 6th St., Muskegon, MI 49441) with Fr. Charles D. Hall presiding. VISITATION will be one hour prior to Mass on Saturday. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. MEMORIALS in memory of Dale may be directed to Muskegon Catholic Education Foundation – Crusade for MCC.
