Dan and went school together. We did the track together and threw the shotput if Dan didn't win I would. The coach would always have one of us run in the 440 relay Dan didn't like running. So Dan and I got back together in the last couple years getting caught backup on the good old days. When his wife was sick we was out in his garage working on his snowblower for his side x side he would say I'm sorry I have to check on Caroline. I told don't even let that bother you. He took care of her bye himself right up until the end of her life. That's the kind of man he was. Going to miss our bullshit talks we had out in your garage. RIP Big Guy until we meet again. Dan's laugh of course! No other like it! I knew Dan mostly in our younger years; he had great pride and love for his sisters. A good kid .. always respectful. Good story teller and 'writer.' Dan was raised a 'family guy' and marriage / family shined on him. I missed seeing him in stores stocking shelves after retirement. Life already feels less bright without him in it. Life needs more 'Dan's' .. a brother I could have enjoyed. A fun, thoughtful, loving, interesting force among us. Say hi to Mary Dan.
