Daniel James Hradsky's Obituary
Mr. Daniel James Hradsky, age 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 after a year and a half battle with cancer. He was born in Muskegon on November 13, 1929 to John and Katie (Pollack) Hradsky. Dan served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He had worked at Continental Motors for over 40 years before retiring in 2002. Dan was a member of the Muskegon Heights Eagles and was “The” member of Spoonville Gun Club in Nunica. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed pheasant hunting and trout fishing. Dan was a volunteer auctioneer for Ducks Unlimited, Ruffed Grouse Society, Heights Eagles and Mona Lake Boat Club events. He spent many years coaching baseball and softball, and was actively involved with the Hile Athletic Association. Dan is survived by two children, Andrew (Teresa) Hradsky and Katie (Matt) Andrews; four grandchildren, Danny (Rebecca), Jake, Sarah (Dave) and Job (Alex); and two great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Tyler. He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 50 years, Vivian (Melin) Hradsky; his parents; six brothers and three sisters. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held from 2-5 PM Sunday, April 17, 2016 at The Clover Bar (601 S Beechtree, Grand Haven 49417). MEMORIALS may be made to the Noah Project.
