Daniel G. "Dan" Temple's Obituary
Mr. Daniel G. “Dan” Temple, age 47, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, April 9, 2006 along with his faithful canine, Amethyst. He was born July 18, 1958 in Muskegon to Albert and Carol (Box) Temple, and had resided in the Muskegon area most of his life. Mr. Temple worked for Shape Corporation for 5 years and prior to Shape worked for Burnside Manufacturing. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the S.A.L. Hesperia American Legion Post #411. Dan was a hard worker and enjoyed helping others. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved working in his yard, loved country music, was knowledgeable in technology, and loved his animals. SURVIVORS include his mother, Carol Puflett of Muskegon; raised by step-father, George Lichner; 2 brothers, Dennis Temple of Hesperia, George (and fiancée, Candace Chapman) Puflett, Jr. of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Sheryl Temple-Iams, Helen Temple both of Muskegon; 6 nephews and 1 niece; many beloved aunts and uncles; and his former spouse, Robin Silver of Ferrysburg. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Temple. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday at
