Daniel J. Wilson's Obituary
Mr. Daniel J. Wilson, age 81, passed away on September 13, 2011 at Spectrum Butterworth. He was born on March 22, 1930 to Ward and Margaret (Burnett) Wilson. Daniel was a member of North American Hunt Club, N.R.A. and the Pistol Club. He retired from Teledyne Continental in 1994. He is survived by special friend and companion, Shirley King, 2 sons, John (Judy) Wilson and David Wilson; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. His extended family includes Brenda (Dale) Wiley, Randy (Theresa) Huston, Russell (Jeanie) King, Kris (Veronica) King and Bud Linton; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Dobb, in 1993 and also 2 brothers, Donald and Robert Wilson and 2 sisters, Mary Ellen Martin and Patricia Shappee. MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11 AM Saturday, September 17, 2011 at The Walburn Chapel 1547 Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 with Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS to Salvation Army would be appreciated. BURIAL will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
