Dan W. Peel's Obituary
Dan W. Peel, age 48, of Coopersville passed away Sunday, November 26, 2006 at a local hospital. He was born December 2, 1957 to Paul and Teresa (Covington) Peel in Grand Haven.
Dan attended Grand Haven High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He was currently employed by WZPX-TV Channel 43 in Grand Rapids as a Master Control Supervisor. Dan enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, and golfing. He also enjoyed working on automobiles, power equipment, personal computers, electronics, and buying and selling Roman coins on e-bay. Dan is survived by 3 sons: Travis Peel of Grand Haven, Zachary Peel - USMC Overseas, and Riley Peel of Coopersville; his mother, Teresa Peel of Grand Haven; 3 sisters: Sally Smale of Bonita Springs, FL, Mary Ekdahl of Saugatuck, and Patsy (Paul) Kintopf of Glendale, AZ; and 3 brothers: Jeff (Diane) Peel of Grand Rapids, John Peel of Grand Haven, and Ron (Kelley) Peel of Whitehall. The service for Dan will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. Daniel Anderson officiating.
