I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Darlene from Mercy Hospital. We met again at the Johnson Cancer Center. She was a warm, caring person. She was willing to share her experiences with her illness which helped me face my cancer. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you.##imported-begin##Judy Knowles##imported-end##
I want to express my heart felt condolences to the family & friends who will miss Darlene dearly. For a brief time Darlene was the older sister I never had. We shared so many wonderful experiences growing up in Bluffton, playing on Pigeon Hill, swimming in Muskegon Lake, camping out over night in our make shift tent of blankets over the swing set. Sunday night we were off to MYF Fellowship at Central Methodist & sharing cherry cokes at Wall Greens. So many sweet youthful memories were shared with Darlene. She will be missed.
A Blessing: “May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand.##imported-begin##Sena Black-Sandoli (Sandy Thompson)##imported-end##
Rest in peace, my dear, valiant, courageous lady. You were a part of so many things; your presence will be missed. But now we know you are cradled in the arms of God--no more pain, no more sorrow--only beauty and peace.##imported-begin##Simia Robinson##imported-end##

Jerry, Allison and Sarah,
I worked with Darlene at West Shore Urology many years ago and through Mercy when she was head of Central Scheduling. She always was very upbeat and positive attitudes. Always had a smile on her face. I know she will be missed by her family and friends. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Karen and Darlene were second-cousins, and playmates to me, and my brother, Terry, when we were kids. We drove from Chicago for long weekends with the Wiersmas; they traveled to visit us in Chicago. Karen and I still maintain contact, and she has kept me aware of Darlene's condition. Please accept my condolences at the death of such a good person.##imported-begin##Kent Richmond##imported-end##
