Darrel Myers' Obituary
Mr. Darrel Myers, age 74, of Grand Haven passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021, at home. He was born June 19, 1947, in Fremont to Basil and Mercile (Brickey) Myers. On June 22, 2002, he married Kim Lintjer in Grand Haven.
Darrel retired from Eagle Ottawa in 2010 as the plant Supervisor and served in Vietnam in the US Air Force. He was a member of the Spring Lake Presbyterian Church, the Charles A. Conklin American Legion Post 28, where he served as the building and grounds chairman for many years. He enjoyed all of his friends at the legion, spending time with his family, hunting and attending car shows.
He is survived by his wife Kim, his six children: Tina Myers of Hesperia, Tricia Myers of Hesperia, Traci Myers of Grand Haven, Jeff Myers of North Muskegon, Joshua (Summer) Myers of Orlando, FL, Michele (Jacob) Hanson of Caledonia; step-sons, Matthew Weaver of Colorado, and Adam Hart of Grand Haven; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers: Chuck (Pam) Myers, Bill (Diane) Myers, his twin, Don Myers, Dick (Cindy) Myers; many nieces and nephews and their families, and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Basil and Mercile, niece, Stacy Myers, and sister-in-law, Nancy Myers.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, October 22, 2021, at the Spring Lake Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dan Anderson officiating. Memorial contributions in memory of Darrel maybe given to the Charles A. Conklin American Legion Post 28 or Spring Lake Presbyterian Church.
