David A. Parritt's Obituary
Mr. David A. Parritt, age 78, of Muskegon passed away into the arms of his heavenly father on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at home. He was born July 23, 1947, in Muskegon to Herbert and Helen (Kovates) Parritt. In 1970 he married Cora Malette.
David was a born-again Christian who was a member of Faith Baptist Church. In 2008 he retired from Howmet after 40 years. David loved spending time outside, planting in his garden, camping with his family and traveling around the country. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Cora; six children: Wallace Martin, Jr, Corajean Stafford, Donna (John) Kilcriease, Robert (Traci) Martin, Penny (Ted) Theodore, and Sandie (Bob) Townsend; twenty five grandchildren; thirty four great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren; brother, Edward Parritt; sisters-in-law, Sandra Malette, and Autum Alpine. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Candy Martin, parents Herbert and Helen and son-in-law, Bobby Stafford.
A funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Faith Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions in memory of David may be given to the Brain Trauma Foundation.
