Bill and I send our sympathy to Karen and your family. When Bill called him Thursday morning to talk, it was a shock to hear he had just passed away. Bill has always missed Dave since we moved to Tennessee. It was nice they could keep in touch. Dave would ride his tractor across Sternberg and they would sit and talk. I can still picture him on his tractor with a smile. He'd take his hat off and rub his head and smile. Thank you Dave for the good memories and all the help you gave us. You were a super nice friend and neighbor. We wish peace and comfort to Karen and family.

My dad was so much fun! He would sing a silly song to get you to smile. He would help you when you needed it. He sure did love us all. There won't be a day that that goes by that I won't miss our talks. Heaven must have needed a little humor.
