David was my sisters Father-in-law. He had an amazing talent in photography. He gave us an 8x10 of the Coast Guard Festivals' fireworks that shoot from the water. It is awesome, and I will display it every summer. Thanks David.
Thoughts and prayers to Stella and the family.

Dear Stella and family, I knew David Snelling at pheasant ridge back in March and April 1993. He was a great guy and I really liked him alot. He was my therapist at Pheasant Ridge in 1993. I'll never forget the day he met my mother the first time he saw her. David Snelling had a great personality and he was a super nice man. I'll also never forget the day he wrote my earliest discharge on my calendar at Pheasant Ridge. David Snelling was a good guy, and I'll never forget him. I'll never forget his great personality or the few times he saw and talked to my mother at Pheasant Ridge either.

Dear Stella and family,
There are very few people in life that have the gift to connect with everyone they meet. David had that gift and spread joy and goodwill everywhere. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
Warmly,

Dear Stella and family,
I was surprised and saddened to hear of David's passing. When i worked at Pheasant Ridge i found him to demonstrate instinctive understanding and acceptance of others. He was always ready with a warm smile and words of good humor, and to share enthusiasm. Please accept my sympathy and prayers.

Dear Stella and family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. My husband and I were at your party a little over a year ago. I worked with Dave for many years at Brooks and always appreciated his unique and comical photography and how proud he was of your home. I will keep you in my thoughts.

What a surprise to hear about Dave's passing today...Dave and I worked together many years ago in Cass County with children at CMH before he moved on to KPH...always the "kid" at heart with everyone he met. His reflections on life and unique sense of humor were precious. His smile will never be forgotten.

Dear stella and family , I was so sorry to hear of Davids passing. He was my interb supervisor at Pheasant ridge when I first started. He taught me alot about being a psychologist and we quickly became friends. He will be missed by all.

Dear Stella & family,
We were so saddened by the news of Dave's passing. We will always remember the fun, smiling neighbor who stopped by in his red convertible with the top down (even in frigid weather!) to spend a few minutes talking and joking. Oh, the joy he had hosting the Christmas party...and the time he must have spent composing his "Name That Tune" game, Summer evening deck parties...What a delight to have known him and been invited to join the party of his life! The neighborhood will never be the same without him. Dave&Kate
Stella and family.
I was very sorry to hear about David.
In the many years that I worked with David at Pheasant Ridge, I came to know and appreciate his exceptional talents in all areas. He was a skilled clinican, respected and esteemed by the staff, and especially liked by the children he counseled. His sense of humor and perspective on life was always a welcome relief from the seriousness of the issues we dealt with daily. This carried on, whether at camp with the staff and kids, or on the golf course (at the Empathy Open)
I was sorry to have lost touch with David after Pheasant Ridge closed.
He was truly a unique person, and I know you will miss him.
Hopefully, the memories will help comfort you .
A party is a terrific idea. David's Christmas gatherings were always the highlight of the year.
