Deanna Lee Steinberg's Obituary
Mrs. Deanna Lee Steinberg, age 76, formerly of Manistee, Michigan, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 in Muskegon, Michigan. She was born in Lakeview, Michigan on July 26, 1940 to Leon and Esther (Long) Taylor. Deanna was employed for many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse prior to her retirement. She was a member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church of Manistee. On October 21, 1961, Deanna married Jerome J. Steinberg at St. Jean Catholic Church in Muskegon, and he preceded her in death on November 17, 2011. She is survived by four sisters, Marjorie Smith, Shirley (David) Plamondon, Janet (Wayne) Strieder and Charlene (Norman) Foy; one brother, James Taylor; one sister-in-law, Connie (Larry) Hindman; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Deanna was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Doriss Shavalier and one brother, Lanny Taylor. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 21, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Rev. Fr. Norman Droski presiding. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. The ROSARY will be prayed at 9:30 AM, given by her brother-in-law, David Plamondon. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Manistee, Michigan. MEMORIALS in Deanna’s memory may be directed to the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
