Aunt Della was very special to me. My Mom taught me how to sew but Aunt Della helped me to perfect my sewing. She has given me a lot of advice over the years. I always enjoyed giving her a hug because she would call me Shorty, even though she wasn’t much taller than me! She was getting a lot closer to my height as she got older, and we would laugh about it! She was fun to be around. I hope her and Aunt Doris and my Mom are going to antique shops again and my Mom and her are golfing in heaven! I love you Aunt Della! You will be missed! ❤️😢

What a beautiful tribute to a live well lived. I have enjoyed hearing about your mom, Kathy, over the past few years and know that your loss is great but so thankful for the assurance you will see her again. Have met your mom a few times when you were able to bring her to church and remember seeing her at the Hymn Sing as you were wheeling her out and I asked her if she enjoyed the music and she smiled and showed me the cookie she had in her hand, to which I said "Oh, you got a cookie" to which she replied with a big smile " No, I have 2 and showed me the other one!" So many memories your family will treasure of her. May these bring smiles and comfort to you from the great comforter.

Della was like my second Mom! Growing up with the Karel family in the Berean Church brings very fond memories to mind! Della made my prom dresses and my sister's wedding dress as well as other items. We were at their house on Creston Street a LOT! Kathy and I grew up together and she put up with my homesickness every summer at Grace Youth Camp (still sorry for that, Kathy!), but our families spent a lot of great times together!

So sorry for your loss, but she is "home" now and in Jesus' arms!

Della has been in my life for nearly 40 years. She has been one of the dearest lady’s I’ve had the pleasure doing her hair all that time. Then I had the pleasure of seeing Harry in his later years for cuts too! They have been great examples of the Light of Jesus! I’ll miss you Della!
