I am thankful for the many special memories of times with Aunt Dody. Especially childhood memories when she joined Mom, Dad, Ginny and I, as we went on vacations; for times spent with her at the beach; and riding in the two-tone green Chevy. Aunt Dody was loving, generous, and patient. I can’t really ever remember her being unkind or angry, although she had every right to be with a strong-willed niece who ran away from her near the N. Muskegon Blockhouse. These last days spent with her were special too. Although her body was failing, we were able to reminisce and also share the hope and peace she had in knowing Jesus and that she would be going to a better place.
We are sorry that we can’t be with the family as you gather on Friday. We hope that you will be comforted by your memories of a wonderful sister and aunt. We pray that you have that peace and assurance in knowing that you will see her again in Heaven.
