Such a caring lovely person. Pat always made us welcome when we visited from across the pond. When someone mentions America we always think of Pat and her warm smile and the love she radiated to everyone. We will miss our adopted American Mom. God bless you Pat we will meet again in a far better place.##imported-begin##George & Elsie King & Family. ENGLAND.##imported-end##
Mr. Sweet, Neil, Ron and Dena I'm very sorry to read the passing of your wife and mother. Mrs. Sweet was a kind, dear women that was very understanding. I remember when we were young and would be running away from people who were chasing us in Hackley woods. We would run to Patrick's house and there your mother would be in the kitchen asking us what we were up too. Of course, we told her nothing but she knew better. I also remember when I would go over to your house when Patrick was in the service and your mother would read Patrick's letter's. She was a great person and will be missed!##imported-begin##Joe Frazine##imported-end##
I know that no one in your family will know this name. I worked with Pat at Misco in the machine shop. She was one of the nicest people to work with and I know everyone will miss her very much. I never seen nor heard her say or act any way but extremely nice to everyone and that was not always easy when we were doing the same work as all the men there. They , at first , did not appreciate women there but she was one of the finest machine operators that we had. I was in inspection and she was a very big help to me because when I went in there I knew absolutely nothing and I really appreciated all her help. Again I am sorry for your loss.##imported-begin##Irene L. Gierzak##imported-end##
Dick, Neil, Ron, Dena and family,
Words cannot begin to express the deep sorrow and profound sense of loss I feel at learning of Pat’s passing. Pat was one of a kind. She was a very special person. I have so many fond memories of Pat, Dick, and the Sweet gang. You could talk to Pat about anything and she always gave you her honest opinion, didn’t judge people, never gave up on the people in her life (in-laws and out-laws included), was generous with her time and talents, had a terrific sense of humor, and was so graceful and upbeat in handling her health issues. Pat was always proud of her kids and grandkids. I so enjoyed running into her when I was living back in Muskegon taking care of my mother and going to visit at the house on Torrent. I enjoyed corresponding with her this past Christmas. I sincerely believe she is in a much better place now and enjoying a joyous reunion with Boogie and Val. Our family and the world have lost a gem. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. My heart is with you all. You have my love and my sincerest sympathy.##imported-begin##Juli LaPres##imported-end##
