Dewey will be missed deeply for years. I still remember him diligently dutifully working as a pharmacist in Lakeside. He got to know many families. Everyone I knew from living in Lakeside knew Dewey in the 1960's, 70's, & 80's plus. My husband's father was a pharmacist friend of Dewey's & they, along with some other businessmen in the late 1970's, got involved with TRC on Hutchinson Island, Florida. Each couple bought a couple units & met with other lifelong friends same weeks, each Spring for years. Dewey & Martha & my husband's parents were on the top floor around the corner from each other. For years at the same time, same weeks, together, they enjoyed the Florida sunshine. Dewey was the life of the party & everyone wanted to talk to him! He was involved in the Lakeside Eagles from its starting point on Laketon & Lakeshore in the Viking's basement. Then, he was the catalyst for the Vikings club purchasing the building next to the Vikings on Muskegon Lake, now used for a popular gathering place. Many knew Dewey from the Vikings Club, not far from his home. My husband & I had many laughs with Dewey especially listening to his many stories of people we have shared friendship with throughout life & how they intertwined with ours. Like the time I found the name of my dad on my birth certificate & Dewey telling me he grew up next door to that family & had many stories to tell. I remember meeting Dewey's brothers from the many funerals & events we were at together throughout the years, & how one could see the similarities in their faces! So many fun memories! It has been a true blessing knowing Dewey & Martha. Without their loving support & friendship, my family now wouldn't have been in the Viking's family. Dewey Bringedahl will truly be missed for years! Sincere condolences to all of his family and special hugs to Dewey's wife, Martha ❤️ from Denice Meyer.
