A rush of memories came flooding back when I heard the news. Diane was absolutely crazy and I loved her with all my heart. Every year I put the cheerleading ornament she gave me with her photo in it on my tree. I couldn't believe it when she did a toe-touch for me - it was so good! That laugh...that snort! She was so fun, and so funny and just a wonderful person. I will never forget our talks, her "big sister" advice and the never ending love (and hugs) she gave. I just read of Diane's passing. I had no idea she was still battling cancer. I will never forget all good times we had together. Doing pageants with the girls, trips to Detroit, hanging out in your pool and all the cheerleading talk. We would lose touch but if we ran into each other, it felt like no time had passed at all except for the fact we would be in shock at how our kids had grown and matured over such a short time. I wish I would have known that you were suffering again so I could have been there for you. You were definately one of a kind. Always so happy and a joy to be around. You made everything fun. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Especially the girls. But you are with God now and are at peace. You will be sadly missed by many. I love you. Diane you were one of a kind. In my daughter's eyes you were like a 2nd mother. She felt so loved by you. She will always remember the happy times she spent with you and your girls.You always had a smile on your face and could always make Breanna laugh. For whatever reasons I know God has a plan for you.
