Diane Ellen (Conley) Dirkse's Obituary
Diane Ellen (Conley) Dirkse, age 44, went to be with her Lord on Monday morning, October 22, 2007 at her home after a courageous fight with breast cancer. She was born in Grand Rapids on May 8, 1963 to Ronald E. and Merilyn Ellen (Hendrick) Conley and was a life resident of the Muskegon area. Diane had previously been a manager of Arby’s and had been a cheerleading coach for the Fruitport Schools. Diane was a member of Calvary Church; she loved to play music and enjoyed singing. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Nikole Ellen and Danielle Leigh Dirkse; her parents, Ron and Merilyn Conley; 1 brother, Daniel L. (Linda) Conley; 1 sister, Susan K. (Dave) Quinn; her grandparents, Edward and Alma Visscher; 1 niece, Misty; 4 nephews, Khristopher, Andrew, Joshua, Matthew; many uncles, aunts, cousins; and her former husband, Craig Dirkse. SERVICES will be 1PM Thursday at Calvary Church with Pastor Bill Rudd officiating. VISITATION will be 1 hour prior to the service. INTERMENT will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIALS in Diane’s name may be made to Nikole and Danielle’s education fund. The family of Diane would like to thank Harbor Hospice for the special care they provided.
