Delores (and Bob)was my second parent(s) who accepted and treated me as one of their own children. She leaves behind many fond memories for me. To name them all would take many pages and hours, but one I will always cherish were the many Saturday nights spending the night with Karen, my very best dear friend and the boys, (Bobby Patrick, & Brian) making homemade pizzas and playing records (hippie music as Bob would call it) while she and Bob were out dancing or having a great time with their many circle of friends.
Delores knew how to live life, and did just that! She had the love of a good and devoted husband, as well as children, grandchildren, sisters, family and friends. She touched so many people and left a smile and a song in each and every heart she came in contact with.
Delores has shown us that although you will have setbacks in life, never quit living life. She had dignity, style, and grace as well as, a good set of signing pipes!
I will be eternally grateful to Delores for being my "second mother" and for giving me my best friend/sister, Karen.
Thank you for never making me feel like an outsider. I will miss hearing you sing here on earth, but know that you are singing and dancing once again with God.
I love you!
