Don Delong was a school friend from K through 12. What a nice guy I remember,
never a day without a smile. And of course he and Pam one of those high school romances that lasts the life time they are given. Steffanie if I had known when you became my supervisor that this was your father I could have told you some fun stories to try to help with the burden of seeing a parent suffer. When my parents were ill near the end of their lives friends of theirs related stories from their lives that helped realize what they meant and did for others during their own lives. He was taken too young but you know the saying only the good die young and he was one of the good guys.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I enjoyed working with Don during our years at Clock Funeral Home and his great sense of humor. Melanie (Lynn) Prins, Jenison, MI
I had the pleasure of working with Don at the Walburn Chapel many years ago and have several great memories of the time we spent together there. Don and I had nicknames for each other he gave me Claude and I gave him Clyde and every time we saw each other even years later the nicknames were used and laughed about.
Teri and I also remember the good times at the pig roasts!!
Don was a great guy and will be missed!!
We have been thinking about you Pam and your family.

I worked for Don when he owned Professional ambulance and always had fond memories of those younger times. Who could forget those company pig roasts! Our thoughts and prayers to Pam, Mark, Brad, Craig, Butch and all the others.

Pam, Jeff & Stephanie,
I was saddened by the passing of your husband and father.
Please know I am thinking of you all. Nora Carson
Pam and family, you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry to hear of Don's illness and passing. I was chuckling last week as I was telling other CPR instructors here in Ludington about teaching CPR classes with Don in 1977, and how things have changed. I send my deepest condolences.
