Darcy, Sally, Tim and Kelli,
How saddened we are to know of Don's passing from this life. It was always evident how much he loved his family and what close relationships you shared. It was a joy to be a part of the swim team family with you in Grand Haven, at the Y as well as the high school. We have great memories of all the pracitces (Darcey coaching), swim meets and our travels to Florida together. It was super comforting to work the timing system with Don, as everytime there was a "issue" he remained calm and figured it out! Many prayers being said for you as you go through this grief together.

We are so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. We coached Tim and Kelly in the Tri Cities YMCA Penguin Swim Team back in the day. We have fond memories of the entire Dewey family.

Don and I were best of friends since our early years. His mother used to babysit me and my brother. I loved getting to hang out at his place, walking distance to Craven Park, the ice cream store and just down the road from the Masons. We were together in all grades K through 12, and did all of our Boy Scout time together. A true friend. Condolences to his family and may Don rest in peace.

I was so very saddened for you Darcy when I learned of Don’s sudden death.
I retired from Mercy in 2000, Don’s name was familiar and once I saw his picture I remembered him vividly. Don was pleasant, kind and caring through and through.

I worked with Don for 25 years in the cath lab taking care of very sick patients. He was one of the best nurses I have ever worked with. He truly found his calling in life. He possessed the rare combination of deep compassion for patients and strong technical skills and medical knowledge. He will be deeply missed by his cath lab family. Hope this knowledge and your memories give you some comfort during this difficult time.
