I had the privelege working for the same company as Don. As he was retiring I was starting my career. It was a privelege to see someone excel in their career but always had is faith and family ahead of his work. He was a great role model for me. My thoughts and prayers are with the Ecklesdafer family.

Dear Ecklesdafer Family and Friends,
I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one. Please accept my sincere condolences. May it comfort you to know that “The Most High God” has resurrected humans before through His Son Jesus, and He assures us He will do so again very soon. (Acts24:15, Psalms 83:18,Job 14:15).
I wish to send my condolences to the family. Don and my father knew each other as kids and I only met him 10 or so years ago, but he is still family. I have many pictures of my Aunt Chick (Roberta Jane) and my dad (Robert John) with Don that were sent to me years ago when I was very active in the history of this family. Please know that our thoughts go out to you in this time of grieving. -- Lance
I always remember Don helping with the children's games at our VBS. I do want to express my deepest sympathy to Donna and her family. We miss them here at Calvary Baptist Church in Ludingtonn. Sharon Hilyard.
On behalf of the Pentwater Tennis Club, I wish to convey to Don's family our sincere condolences. Don was a gifted athlete and a joy to be around. Don was our club president in 2002-03 and was instrumental in helping us keep our facilities in good shape. We will deeply miss him.

Donna & Family, Gay and I send our prayers your way as you all grieve and rejoice in Don's home going. The Ecklesdafer family has been our family as well for many years and we will miss Don's endless smile and his terrific laugh. A man of God who has been a mentor to many of us younger folk. He was a "Fisher of Men". Gay and I will miss him very much, but will meet him again when God calls us to our heavenly home as well.
Donna and Family,
I have had the privilege of knowing Don since 1975 and worked with him for 25 of those years. He was an awesome and powerful man, who knew what his priorities were. He loved his God with all of his heart as well as his family. Those of us who were fortunate enough to have worked with him heard about both of these priorities daily. He truly was a great mentor and leader and someone I am so thankful that God put in my path. Our deepest sympathy go out to all of you at this difficult time.
With all of our love and prayers,
Tom and Connie
