His quick wit and sense of humor is etched in my memory. Like most of my friends, Don was a good basketball player and a friend. I'm disappointed that we didn't have a chance to spend more time together. RIP Clifford Hawkins AKA "Hawk"

Our hearts are with you and the family. Although our paths have not crossed in quite some time, we think of you often and always looked forward to seeing you both. Unfortunately, as time passed, we weren't able to connect. We'll always remember Don as a personality that entered the room and instantly engaged in conversation and made those around him feel welcome.

Don was a real treasure to the Muskegon community and to the Big Red Family. A quick wit who kept all on their toes. We had many discussions about our Vietnam experiences, and I enjoyed his memories. I will miss him.
