Donald L. Haan's Obituary
Mr. Donald L. Haan, age 69, passed away Friday morning, November 12, 2004 in Muskegon. He was born October 19, 1935 to George and Marian (Bolt) Haan in Muskegon, and lived all of his life in the Muskegon and Ravenna areas. He worked at Harbor Industry in Grand Haven for several years before retiring, was a member of the 1954 Muskegon Heights Championship Basketball Team, and belonged to the Fruitport Eagles. Don loved to hunt and fish, and was able to go on several trophy hunting trips. He also loved the outdoors, gardening, and feeding wildlife by his home. SURVIVORS include his wife Sandra; 3 sons, Thomas Haan of TX, Donald (Cheryl) Haan of Muskegon, Scott Haan of Muskegon; 2 step-daughters, Mindee (Scott) Wood of Ravenna, Melissa Starr of Casnovia; several grandchildren; his mother, Marian Haan of Roosevelt Park; his indentical twin brother, Thomas G. Haan of Montague; 1 sister, Lillian (Wes) Spyke of Muskegon; a special nephew, Tim (Machelle) Haan of Ravenna. He was preceded in death by his father George.
