I worked with Donna at GTE. She was a fun loving and helpful person to know.
Kevin, I am so sorry to hear this. I always thought of your mother as a classy lady, and so independent raising you and your sister on her own. I hope you find some comfort in your memories......

So sorry Io hear about Donna! I feel bad that I can't be there to come to the funeral, we are out of the country for the winter. I have a lot of great memories of Donna. She was extended family through my Uncle Bill (she was his Aunt - only 4 years older than him, LOL!), she was my lunch lady at South Shores, and she also was from our neighborhood area where I grew up. She was a fantastic cook and there wasn't anything that she wouldn't do for her kids or grandchildren. She was a determined lady as a widow to raise 2 young kids and also with limited sight. She lived on her own for a long time and I admired her strength and determination. She always said it was because she was just stubborn and you had to love that about her!! I used to visit her periodically at her house or at the nursing home with my Aunt Fern and she loved to have us bring her cookies. This was the highlight of her day, just to have someone stop and visit an old lady and visit her as she would say! RIP Donna - we love you. Phil and Sheree Farmer
