Donna Jean Hillman's Obituary
Mrs. Donna Jean Hillman, age 97, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020. She was born in Muskegon on June 2, 1922 to James and Elizabeth (Seal) Fike. Donna married Calvin Hillman on January 23, 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1962. She was a long-time member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Donna had worked in food services at South Shore Junior High and later at GTE for 10 years prior to her retirement. Donna is survived by her children, Kevin (fiancée, Kimberly Kalinowski) Hillman and Suzanna Ross; five grandchildren, Brandon (Meghan) Hillman, Katie (Steve) Dunn, Ryan (Katie) Hillman, Christopher Hillman, and Colin (Anna) Ross; eight great-grandchildren, Easton, Madilyn, Lilly, Jameson, Jacob, Bennett, Sophia, and Lily. In addition to her husband Calvin, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, January 27, 2020 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church (1100 Dykstra Rd, N. Muskegon, MI 49445) with Rev. Godfrey Onyekwere presiding. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. MEMORIALS in memory of Donna may be directed to Christian Care Nursing Center. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
