Doris: You were always so kind and patient with me when I started at St. Francis. You became a good friend and mentor. I will do my best to keep the plants alive, and I know you'll be watching and giving me help! You will be deeply missed.
David and kids: You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Rely on your family, friends and faith to get you thru all the 'firsts' without Doris.
I remember Doris as a former neighbor and always a friendly face at St. Francis. My condolences to the family.

Dori is many things to many people, but to me she was a wonderful Mother in Law and friend. Favorite memories, tearing into the xmas cookie box and seeing this years ornament, her excitement when she found out that Lauren was a "girl", leaving those pinwheels out for Barbie and I, beautiful, supportive cards when you needed them the most. Kind hearted and thoughtful. One last "love you" at the end of every phone call.
She will be missed, but never far.

My thoughts and prayers are with David and the family of Doris. I will always be grateful for her service to St. Francis de Sales Parish during my time as Pastor. She served in the parish office and also with many funeral luncheons. Her birthday was the day before mine. Doris was a faithful Catholic, a devoted wife, mother and friend to many, and a caring heart to so many. She had a genuine concern for others and and was not afraid to speak up. May God bless her for her faith, hope and love. I will also miss her wonderful chocolate chip cookies (the best!). God grant her eternal light and peace.
