Dear Laurin and family; Bill, Lois & Evelyn,
We are very sorry that you have lost a very important part of your family. It is not easy to lose a loved one and our sympathy goes out to you. Louise and I were reminiscing about years gone by--about the times when you lived on Mona Lake and the family get togethers when you lived on Henry Steet. Days gone by are nice to remember, but moving forward and remembering the past seems to help us get through these times. Doris was a very charming and lovely person and will be missed.

Aunt Doris was always such a giving person. Doing for others especially the
dogs and children. A excellent listener
with the advise of her wisdom. Her handi-work, flower gardens and gentle
voice and smile I was fortunate to have
known her. My thoughts will be with Uncle Laurin & Deb

I was a lucky child, being blessed with Mrs. Ramsey as a teacher for 5th and 6th grades at Churchill Henry. She was one of the most influential teacher that I had at Mona Shores. Although I have not spoken with her in many years, I am saddened by the loss. My prayers go to Mr. Ramsey and the family.##imported-begin##Kim Rueger-West##imported-end##
My deepest sympathies to your family. Mrs. Ramsey was my teacher for both 5th and 6th grade. She was instrumental in helping me with the death of my father when I was in her class. She was without a doubt the best teacher I had and was my inspiration to become a teacher myself. I pray God's blessings and comfort to you during this difficult time. She will be dearly missed.##imported-begin##Kari Johnson Fotis##imported-end##
I wanted to express my deepest condolences on the passing of Mrs. Ramsey. She was my most influential teacher. She always expected great things from her students. Because of that expectation, I always worked to my greatest capability. It was a lesson that I've carried all through my life. Later, I would visit Mrs. Ramsey in my early adult years. She always took an interest in my accomplishments and my family. She and Laurin were also very good neighbors to my grandparents, Harold and Henrietta Cochran.
Please take comfort in the fact that your wife and mother touched so many lives in a positive way.##imported-begin##Shellie Bailey-Shah##imported-end##
Mrs. Ramsey was my sixth grade teacher for the 1965-66 school year. She was a wonderful woman who knew how to make a little girl with low self esteem feel good about herself. I always remember her with great fondness as my all time favorite teacher.##imported-begin##Christie Iversen White##imported-end##
Doris was a very special lady and has greatly impacted my life. She will be missed but not forgotten. With deepest sympathy,
