Doris Marian Caswell's Obituary
Mrs. Doris M. Caswell, age 89, passed away at her home on August 12, 2007. She was born on March 14, 1918 to John and Mabel (Califf) DeCoster, and was a member of McGraft Congregational Church. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. On September 19, 1937 she married Donald E. Caswell (former Muskegon Fire Chief) in Muskegon, and he preceded her in death on August 26, 1988. SURVIVORS include 2 daughters, Janice (David) Mudgett of Muskegon and Susan Caswell of Ozona, FL; 4 grandchildren, Pam (Al) Lezon, Curt (Laurie) Mudgett, Paul (Linda) Mudgett, and Phil (Laura) Mudgett; 11 great-grandchildren, Andy, Tony, Seth and Sean Lezon, Evan, D.J., Grant, Jesse, Jason, Melissa and Ruth Mudgett; and caregiver, Donna Harris. Mrs. Caswell was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elizabeth Bouchard; and brother, Earl Swords. A private graveside service will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to McGraft Congregational Church or the Muskegon Rescue Mission. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.
