Doug was my dad. I never even imagined my life without him. He was the only person who i could count on to always be waiting for me with a big hug & kiss on the forehead. He used to get so excited for me to pick him up and go somewhere with him, have it be to my church or to one of my soccer games. i used to brag to my friend's that he was going..and they would all be happy to hear he was going..everyone knew how much my new relationship with my dad meant to me. nothing will ever fill this void in my chest. I love you, dad. I am doing my very best to continue living and smiling like you would want me to. it hurts and i'll never forget you.

I am Doug's ex'wife, and mother of his daughters. Doug was a wonderful father, and a great person all around. He will be greatly missed by many!! Dear Uncle Alvin
Dan, Cheri, Janet and Laurie,

We're so sorry to hear about the sudden and tragic death of Doug.

It's seems not long ago, that we were playing in the hay loft at the farm, sledding on the big hill at Thanksgiving, piling in the Red Beetle Bug, and laughing at the bowl of spaghetti on Doug's head as he slurped the noodles, and then a few years later seeing a proud daddy holding his little brown eyed babies.

May all of our memories of Doug, along with God's Peace and Love surround and comfort all of you during this time.
