I haven't seen Dewey in about 4 1/2 years but the memories are still pretty fresh. He was the first person that ever took me on a motorcycle ride and it wasn't just around the block - it was all the way down to Grand Rapids. It was a scary but fun ride. I can remember him taking my sisters and I out on the lake with his boat. He always lent a hand to help you out if need be. He was a great person and he will be missed.##imported-begin##Michelle##imported-end##
My thoughts and prayers are with all the family and friend who knew Duane. He was very lucky to have the LOVE and Support of his family. The memorial service was very touching and I am glad that I was a part of it. Tim,Deb,Matt, & Sara Schuitema##imported-begin##Deb Schuitema##imported-end##
Duane and I were involved in the truck pulling for many years. A great guy he was. I can still see his wall of organizers holding all the spare parts. Most of which came from copy machines. We collaborated on a couple trucks but most of the time they were his creations. He was even able to become the World Champion a time or two. Duane has left his impression on my life. I haven't spoken to him in some time and have missed him. My prayers go out to all of those that have been close to him.##imported-begin##Matt Wilkins##imported-end##
Lori and I always enjoyed talking to "Dewey" during our rides with the HOG chapter. He always could make you laugh about something. One time Dewey got to talking about a book he keeps with all the Eagle locations nationwide - and how it tied into a free drink (if needed). I said no way - next thing I knew we were at an Eagle location getting me signed up. I'll also remember the "Halloween parties" at his house. Great host, great guy. He loved to laugh.##imported-begin##Dan & Lori McCabe##imported-end##

I was sorry to hear of Dewey's passing. We were both friends of Dann L. Dewey built a storage barn for me that still looks new after about 10 years. he was the kind of guy I could trust to do some work for my mother in law after my father in law passed away. She enjoyed his personality and is also saddened at his passing. God bless.##imported-begin##Tyson Keane##imported-end##
