To Duane’s family - Ginny and all who loved him,
I reiterate sister Bennie’s sentiments about Duane. God brought Duane, Sue, Lupe and Mike together with us to work and bond together as we planned our brother’s eventful reunion in July of 2004. I’m not sure the committee was quite prepared for the ‘LaNore’ family, but what a great time, much laughter, sweat and tears together, to make it all happen in the most memorable reunion I have ever experienced. Also working on the Vietnam Memorial Park, which is dear to our hearts! Duane has the ability to light up a room, to turn a frown into a smile, to work hard and long and make it look like he’s playing. He was a blessing to us, as he is to his family, friends, and the community. He touched lives; he didn’t even know he touched. Duane lived the life of love, and his heart was never too full that he couldn’t share it with another. Help and give of himself in any way needed. I only wish we would have had the honor of knowing Duane for many more years than we did. He’s a wonderful man, and heaven is a happier place with him around, working on God’s projects and reunions now….For such a time as this he is needed in heavenly places…..God Bless and Keep you Duane, God give the family peace and joy with the memories that will be yours forever. Our heart felt gratitude and sympathy,
