Ian Carter
Growing up in England in the 1950s we used to receive, from my Aunt Nancy, Bunker school photos of our American cousins. As a young boy I never thought I would ever get to meet any of them as America was such a far distant land back then. Fast forward to today and I am so happy to be able to say that I have had the privilege of meeting them all many times now and am so grateful for that.
I'm thankful in particular to Eddie for having the time AND PATIENCE!! to educate me in the ways of, in particular, American Football, Ice Hockey and Baseball. I, like Eddie, have been a life long sports person and he was always my go to person when (which was VERY often) I had questions about the finer points of your sports. He never failed me and I will miss him so much, he's gone way too soon and I'm struggling to come to terms with that.
Our thoughts and prayers have been with all the Gradisher family over the last few weeks and we hope that they take some comfort in the fine tributes that have been made to Eddie here and I'm sure in person.
All our love
Ian, Barbara, Nick and Andrew
