I was so sad to here about the loss of Ed. Ed was one of the good ole guys. I was trying to think how long I had known him and I guess it has been forever. He was in the police Department and my Dad was in the fire department (E. G. Bollenbach) back in the good old days.
I will always remember Eddy’s smile he always had one when he meets up with you. He also had some pretty good stories. About a year ago this time my Mom and I would see him every two weeks at the hospital when it was time for blood tests. I took my Mom every week. (We lost Mom in March)
My Mom would know what week it was that she would get to see Eddie and she would say when we pulled in let’s see if his truck’s here and then she would see it and be very happy. Eddie would talk to her and it would make her day he was not only a good guy but also a gentleman. I am grateful that I had a chance to know him in my life. He will be truly missed.
I bet he will play a few games of cribbage with my dad now. I think all of the good guys are gone now. May the peace of the lord help you during this very sad time.##imported-begin##Lisa Bollenbach Kellogg##imported-end##
