Elden was a loving father and husband. He loved God, family, hunting and sports. I’m so glad he got to go home to be with the Lord and his daughter and the people in his life that have passed on. He will be missed especially by his best friend and wife Nancy. Growing up, I loved visiting my Uncle Elden and Aunt Nancy because they always showed me unconditional love. Uncle Elden was always straight forward and told me the truth. I went to church with their family and one summer I even got to go to Mackinaw with them. This was a big deal because none of us had very much money, but it was an awesome adventure and Uncle was a kind and loving father figure to me. He always called me “young lady “ with his stern but loving Voice. Uncle Elden had a quirky sense of humour which is another reason I loved him. He always had something to tease me about and always kept it real. I loved all his stories and his laughter. He was so fun to be around. I think of him often as I’m sitting in my recliner. He was a hard worker who loved his family and loved God and his recliner! I’m so thankful to call him Uncle.❤️ He will be missed but not forgotten! I can’t wait to see you in heaven!Love your niece, Debbie Lynn .
