We shall always remember the summers when the Michigian Gastons would visit the Louisiana Gastons. We always marveled how Jean could manage 7 children and Ted and in should a timely manner and be so cheerful. Contending with the heat was a feat in itself. She was a unique person and I know she will be greatly missed. We love all of you and our thoughts and prayers are with you. Uncle Aubrey and Aunt Martha.
Through the joy & glory of Christ, this is not an ending but a passing & I know her heart still beats as she sits at His feet.
This is an immeasurable loss and mom is sadly missed. Love you, Cheryl
Grandma Gaston was a lot of fun growing up. We would trick or treat back in the 70's from her house, she would help with costumes - she could be very creative. Family gatherings, weddings, reunions - she was always there with a smile for everyone. I remember going up to Aunt Marla's in the fall and the smell of apples as you came in the mud room, Grandma would make sure all us grand-kids filled our plates and cleaned them off as well - she would laugh at our crazy antics, she had a great laugh. She was tough and strong and I appreciated that about her. RIP Grandma and watch over us please, say HI to Uncle Dave for me.
