Mrs. Eleanor "Jean" Gaston's Obituary
Mrs. Eleanor “Jean” Gaston, age 90, passed away September 22, 2012. She was born in Muskegon on May 3, 1922 to Frank and Margaret (Page) Haas. Jean was a teacher’s aide at Theodore Roosevelt School for ten years and was employed by Kmart for many years before that. On November 24, 1945 she married Matthew “Ted” W. Gaston, who preceded her in death in 1976. She was greatly loved and adored by her family. Jean is SURVIVED by her children, Brenda (Jim) Parker, Karen (Steve) Hill, Marla (Bill) Van Til, Mary (Paul) Tremayne, Cheryl (Robin) Elliott, Lori (Mike) Clarke; 29 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Along with her husband Jean was preceded in death by her son, David Alan Gaston; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. A MEMORIAL service will be held 11 AM Saturday, October 6, at
