Mrs. Eleanor Heiss' Obituary
Mrs. Eleanor O. Heiss, 97, passed away Wednesday morning, March 9, 2016 in Muskegon. She was born August 7, 1918 to Samuel and Mary Thiel in Detroit, and lived most of her life in the Muskegon and Ravenna areas. Mrs. Heiss worked as an LPN at Muskegon General Hospital for 15 years before retiring, and had been a member of the Jibson Immanuel Church. On May 30, 1946 she married Forrest Heiss, and he preceded her in death on July 2, 1996. Survivors Include 3 children, Bonita Theeuwes, Rodney Heiss, Karen (Tim) Skuse; 11 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 1 grandson, Paul Theeuwes; 2 brothers and 1 sister. The funeral service for Mrs. Heiss will be Saturday, March 12, at 2:00 PM at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S.
