Every year on December 20th, myself, along with my sisters Sue and Mary would meet at my moms house to make pierogi. We did this in memory of my father. As the years went on, the tradition continued and more help came including my daughter Rachel, daughter in law Kelli and Marys daughter Ashley. My mom would always have cookies and fudge on the table waiting for us. Christmas music would play in the background while we talked, laughed and cried with one another. The day was always beautiful and always fun. Our whole family looked forward to the pierogi frying in a pan on Christmas at my sister Sues house.
