Eternal rest grant to Eleanor, O Lord##imported-begin##Patrick J Mason##imported-end##
Eleanor was a member of the Wednesday morning Bible study group at Jefferson Towers for nearly seven years. I could always count on her good answers and good reading of the Bible passages. She had a happy spirit even when she did not feel tip top. She was an encourager! I loved her and love her still and because of that I think of you her family whom she spoke of so sweetly with love also.

Just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear of Cousin Eleanor's passing. We have been away on vacation and I apologize for missing her service yesterday. I have such fond memories of visiting her and Matt up in Manistee on the farm with my grandparents(Art and Ida Hoover) and parents (Garry and Marilyn Bradfield). Eleanor knew so many people and places to visit in the area. She always had us on many day trips to Frankfort, Beulah, Arcadia... I enjoyed listening to the stories she would tell with my grandparents and I will always remember her laughter and her baking. And I also think of how warmly she greeted you whether you were just arriving for a visit or leaving their home with her hugs and kisses. What a wonderful person she was and I am so thankful that I knew her for the past forty years!
Take Care!

To Roger and Margaret and Rosemary,
You may recall that my own mother, Louise Magnusson, also lived at Jefferson Towers for some of the time that Eleanor was there. I believe that they had their hair done at about the same time each week, according to my sister Judy who had an apartment there for a while and was acquainted with Eleanor. You will come to value the peoople who "still remember" your mother. Eleanor was one of those people for me, long after my Mom had moved on to the Hume Home and beyond. I would ask her, down in the lobby, "Do you remember me, I'm Jackie, Roger's friend? and "Do you remember my mother, Louise?" And she would say she sure did.
Eleanor had a ready smile. I hope she held onto that. I'm very sorry for your loss, at her death and during the "gradual leaving" that preceded it.
