Mrs. Elida G. Villarreal's Obituary
Mrs. Elida G. Villarreal, age 81, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013. She was born March 17, 1932 in McAllen, Texas to Loreto and Concepcion (Gonzalez) Gonzalez. She married Baldemar H. Villarreal on August 14, 1979 and he preceded her in death in January 2009. Elida lived most of her life in Muskegon and retired from Mercy Hospital in 1990 after 23 years. She enjoyed her family, gardening and crafts. Elida is SURVIVED by her daughter, Sanjuanita A. (Carlton) Webb; grandchildren, Shane, Desiree’, and Austin Webb, Bianca (Jarod) Stowers; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Brijida DeLosSantos, Maria Anzaldua, Felicitas Osornio; and many nieces and nephews. She was PRECEDED in death by her brothers, Geronimo, Ruben, Jose, and Arturo Gonzalez. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 10 AM Monday, July 22, 2013 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 451 South Getty St., Muskegon, MI 49442, with Rev. Fr. Matthew J. Barnum presiding. The VISITATION will be 1 hour prior to the MASS at Church. Memorial contributions can be made to Mercy H.E.A.R.T. Center, 1212 E. Sherman Boulevard, Muskegon, MI 49444, 231-672-3648.
