Elinor Clarice Wiersma, age 82, of Spring Lake went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 14, 2013. She passed away peacefully at home following a long battle with cancer. She was born September 26, 1931, in Nunica to Albert Read Obituary
elinor was a very loving and giving grandmother and wife she was good to everyone always wanting to help. her family will miss her and also her friends.
Elinor was such a light in my life and my two young daughters' lives. She may not have known how much her Sunday visits to drop off her church pamphlets were to us--whether we could catch her and Burnie before they went home or found the pamphlets in our door. She personalized them with our names (heart drawings included), underlined scriptures, and added notes. We read them and my girls would put them on our refrigerator. I wish I could have told her that but she knows now. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to her family and friends.

So very sad to see that this beautiful lady has passed this earth but very comforted in knowing where she is now. My deepest sympathy to the family. Elinor was so kind to me and my family. Growing up with her daughter Jeanie and elinor making sure whenever she saw me she would ask how I was doing as well as my family. She was there through the passing of my mom, dad and brother. I always looked up to her as a very kind woman. May she now rest and know she was loved....
