I have very fond memories of playing golf with Liz on the team in high school! She was always happy and laughing and made everyone around her feel a sense of calm. Prayers for comfort and peace to all of her family and friends. RIP Liz ❤️🙏🏻

Liz and I had a dorm next to each other Freshman year! Then we went in to have so many great adventures at GVSU!! I have many great memories especially our trip to Florida to visit her Aunt and Uncle. My favorite memories are riding in the car listening to country music and dinners with her mom and dad in Spring Lake! So very sorry for your loss! Prayers for all of her family. I am certain she is reunited with her dad, and that brings me comfort knowing they are together.
One of my favorite memories is Lester the Duck. When she was young, Liz came across this little duckling and insisted she had to take it in and nurture it to make sure it survived. Its primary habitat became their backyard, where Larry and Shelley had planted a row of sweet green peppers. Lester thrived under Liz’s care. He also proceeded to eat the tops off every pepper plant they had planted. They thought they had lost that year’s crop of peppers, but amazingly, the pepper plants came back and thrived, producing the most abundant, beautiful peppers they had grown! Lester is a symbol of Liz’s nature. Liz had a kind heart and gentle soul. We love you, Liz. Aunt Cindy and Uncle Steve
Deepest sympathies to Shelly, Mindy and Liz’s family and friends! Hoping for comfort and peace at this unimaginable and sad time. Loving thoughts and prayers will continue.
Sincerely,
