Elizabeth A. "Liz" Aldridge's Obituary
Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Aldridge, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 26, 2025, as a result of complications from surgery. She was born July 17, 1977, in Grand Haven, MI, to Larry and Shelley (McKenzie) Aldridge. Liz graduated from Spring Lake High School in 1995. She dedicated 20 years of her career to Hortech Inc., followed by six years at Shape Corporation, and most recently worked for Linamar Corporation in Grand Haven. On July 25, 2024, she married Brad Palma in Grand Haven, who survives her. A lifelong member of Spring Lake Presbyterian Church, Liz was baptized there and was previously married at the church. She was active in the church community, singing in the choir and participating in the Youth Group. Liz was also an enthusiastic golfer and spoke fluent Spanish—a skill that greatly benefited her throughout her professional life. Her presence will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. SURVIVORS include her husband, Brad; two children: Madeline and Simon Gustafson; stepson, Logan Palma; mother, Shelley Aldridge; sister, Melinda “Mindy” (Mike) Erffmeyer; aunts and uncles: Cindy (Steve) Petersen, Paul (Joyce) Aldridge, Blaine (Nan) McKenzie, Kim (Ned) Wayman, and Rob (Pam) Harnick; nephews: Owen and Parker Lynch. Liz was preceded in death by her father, Larry Aldridge, on February 19, 2023. Private family services will be held for Liz. She will be laid to rest in Spring Lake Township Cemetery.
