We have many memories of Aunt Bertha. As a child I loved Aunt Bertha's black and white cast iron bulldog that doubled as a doorstop. When Dori and I were first married we used to go to Aunt Bertha's with Momma(Berdean or Pemus, as Uncle Dick called her)for dinner and to play peck-peck. Does anyone else remember how they used their "bumpers" to keep the dice on the table?
Also, Aunt Bertha also taught us a little dutch saying, it was, "op gestap yer plats ver gon." It meant, if you get up you lose your seat. We also have a beautiful doily and a little pair of dutch shoes that she tatted. We certainly were fortunate to have her for an Auntie. There are so many fond memories also, of Jack and Joe and family and Cousin Wilma and Gary and Family.##imported-begin##Jim "Dick" & Dori Stone##imported-end##
