Mrs. Ella Katherine Maitner, age 88, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, January 28, 2022 after a long fight with Alzheimer’s. She was born on May 5, 1933 to James and Ester (Koski) Corgan in L’Anse, MI. Read Obituary
Katherine's passing brought back many memories for which I am very grateful. Kathy was very active in the parish during my time as pastor at St. Francis. She was particularly helpful when we prepared a written history of St. Francis. I appreciated her intelligence, wit, wisdom and sense of humor. I especially appreciated her deep faith and devotion to family. My prayers are with her family and loved ones. God grant her the rewards of all her good labors.
