My family's deepest sympathy to you!
I am not sure if you remember me Mrs Hansen, but I am the daughter of Earl and Gen Miller.
I am writing 1 because I remember Mr. Hansen as being such a kind, loving person and a great Dad and you were such a great Mom! The person in your family the most was Margaret!
I was in Margaret's class through my years at St. Patrick's school! I just loved Margaret, and can still picture her beautiful face to this day! I just loved her! I remember her gentleness, and her cute laugh! She was so special!
My Dad passed away in 1985 from bone cancer at the age of 83. Mom is still with us and will b 91 on Oct 1st!
I just wanted to express my sympathy to your family and share my fond memoris of Margaret! May God comfort all of you at this time.

Dear Mrs. Hanson and Family,
I just heard about your husband and father's passing. Am so very sorry for all of the family and friends whose lives he touched in such a loving and friendly way. I have some great memories of him sitting at our kitchen table with my dad, Bill O'Dwyer, talking about their senior religious education classes at St.Pat's. I think they must have been a good team together. He was always smiling. The last time I saw him , at St. Pat's, he made me feel so welcomed and happy to see me. That's how he was. God has to be welcoming him with open arms as he whispers, "Welcome home, my good and faithful servant."
Love,

Al and I were fellow Directors of Religious Education back in the early 70s. I have many happy memories of attending several Religious Education conventions with Al: “The Gathering” annually in Chicago, “The East Coast Conference” in Washington, D.C. and the annual National Catholic Education Asssociaton (NCEA) conventions. He was a founding member of our diocesan association of Religious Education Directors, serving as president for many years as I recall. I admired his superb organizational skills, his theological insights and creative program ideas for St. Patrick’s. He was always “up”, never saw him with a frown. He lived the old adage, “We are an Easter people and Alleluia is our song.” Although I haven’t seen him in many years, he left a deep impression on my life. I am definitely a better person for having known and been touched by this extraordinary man. May Al’s great spirit continue to enliven his family and friends with love and the joy of a life lived to the full. - Bob Lesinski##imported-begin##Robert Lesinski##imported-end##
Good bye "Al"! My life was enhanced in a major way by knowing you. You gave me my first "Real" job and responsibility when you gave me the key to the gas station at the "Y". You trusted me with the entire Christmas Day's receipts and were surprised when I came over to your house to wake you up at 1:00 in the morning to give them to you as I was afraid to take all that money home. I learned a lot under your tutelage about customer relations, changing tires, lubing cars, maintaining customer accounts, record-keeping honesty and integrity. Thanks for all that and your friendship too.##imported-begin##Fritz Curtis##imported-end##
