Dear Joe and Samarng,
Please accept my deep condolences for the loss of your father. I remember him as a man of dignity and quiet good humor, slightly bemused at the liveliness of your mom, but loving her all the more for it. You and your family will be in our prayers.
Love from John & Kerry##imported-begin##Kerry (Spacher) Dobbertin##imported-end##
Dear Joe and Family,
I was saddened to hear about your dad's death. Although we haven't seen each other for many, many years (30 or so?), our neighborhood connection remains one of my strongest and fondest memories. Here's an example - on Tuesday, June 22nd we received a call from Lillian Tellier (our next door neighbor on Pinegrove) who was "remembering" the friendship she had with my mother who died on June 22, 2002. When I remember your dad, I remember his smile and his laugh...and the "cool cars" he used to drive home from work. Until I read his obituary, I didn't know what he did that resulted in his test driving all those Corvettes. The last specific time together that I remember goes back almost 30 years to when our daughter was just a baby and your mom and dad invited us over for a swim on a hot summer day. As I recall, we had a wonderful visit and I was very pleasantly surprised to see Davy Crockett again!!! Joe, I pray that even as you mourn, you will find strength and joy when you reflect on all the wonderful memories you have of your dad and your mom.
Your friend,
