Esther Mae Blackmer age 72 of South Haven, MI died Sunday, November 12, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Esther was born on January 15, 1945 in Kent City, MI to the late Henry and Jenny (Scott) Spoelman. She married Larry A. Read Obituary
So saddened to hear of Esther's passing. We grew up together and attended Moorland Church so many years ago. She was always a special person in my life. I know she's with the Lord and I will see her again some day. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Grandma Blackmer was always an incredibly kind woman. My life was blessed through the years as I felt she treated me like another grandchild. I will never forget the hours spent around the table at the cabin or her delicious meals ! I feel honored that I was able to know her and am incredibly sorry for your loss.
Our deepest sympathy and prayers go out to the Blackmer and Spoelman families. Esther was a very special ladie and will be greatly missed. Still have many great memories from over 50 years ago growing up together in Ravenna.
