Esther Mae Blackmer age 72 of South Haven, MI died Sunday, November 12, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Esther was born on January 15, 1945 in Kent City, MI to the late Henry and Jenny (Scott) Spoelman. She married Larry A. Blackmer on December 16, 1966 in Muskegon, MI.
Esther is survived by her Husband of 50 years: Larry A. Blackmer of South Haven, MI, 3 Sons: Scott (Melissa) Blackmer of Grand Haven, Jeffrey Blackmer of Muskegon and Joshua (Brittany) Blackmer of Fife Lake, MI. 3 Grandchildren, 2 Brothers: Paul (Marlene) Spoelman of Coopersville, David (Coralee) Spoelman of Newaygo, 4 Sisters: Mary Ann (Rich) DeJonge of Newaygo, Ruth (Ken) Morey of Texas, Sarah (John) Olman of Paw Paw and Elizabeth (Paul) Borgman of Ravenna. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her Parents and 2 Brothers: Jim and Calvin Spoelman.
Funeral Services for Esther Mae Blackmer will be conducted on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00am at the First Reformed Church in Ravenna with Pastors Steve VanderWoude & Pastor Tim Conklin officiating. Burial will be in Ravenna Township Cemetery.
The family will be at the First Reformed Church on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm to receive friends.
